Vander Griend Lumber Return Policy

All products must be returned within 90 days of purchase.

A receipt must be presented for all cash/credit card returns.

All returned material is subject to inspection to establish that it is:

• Resalable
• Complete

VGL allows customers 7 business days from delivery or material pickup to:

• Report discrepancies in piece count
• Report damage to material
• Report that VGL shipped unusable material.

For items which VGL stocks, VGL will process all returns within 2 business days of receipt of the return.

On items returned to VGL’s vendors, VGL reserves the right to give the customer credit after it receives credit from the vendor.

VGL will not return material to the customer that is deemed to be unsalable.

VGL reserves the right to give credit for material at the price of a lesser grade like item if deemed that the material cannot be sold or returned to vender as the higher-grade material.    An example of this is #1 fohc kiln dried Douglas fir timbers.

VGL reserves the right to charge restock fees on all items returned.

Special order and custom manufactured (doors, windows, hardware, etc.) items are not returnable.

VGL will attempt to pick up all return requests within 5 business days of notification.   VGL requires that returns are consolidated in one place and accessible to its truck mounted forklifts.
